How to solve the CalDAV sync error 'CalDAV account verification failed'?

The calendar in SpinOffice can be synchronized by means of a CalDAV account. If the error 'CalDAV account verification failed' is shown when configuring the CalDAV account on your iPhone or iPad, then there is an authentication problem. See an example below:

How to resolve this?

  1. First, it is important to check whether the calendar synchronization is activated in SpinOffice. Go to menu option Administration -> User settings -> Synchronization and check whether the calendar sync is active.
  2. Go back to your iOS device, go to the CalDAV account settings and re-enter the SpinOffice password and click Done.
  3. When blue checks appear on the right, the account is recognized and will work again.
  4. If that doesn't solve the problem, delete the CalDAV account and add it again.
  5. If the error still remains;
    1. Go to SpinOffice and reset your password under menu option Administration -> User Settings -> Change Password. Note: this new password is applicable from that moment on when logging in within SpinOffice.
    2. Try this new password within the CalDAV account configuration.
    3. If that doesn't solve the problem, delete the CalDAV account and add it again.


Ultimately, it is important that the CalDAV account displays blue check marks on the right side. That means a successful connection.
