Our CRM solution can be used on any Mac (MacBook Pro, Air, iMac of OS X 10.7 and later) and Windows PC. For Mac users: Download SpinOffice CRM. Save the download when prompted to do so. Double click the downloaded file to begin. Drag the SpinOffice icon into the Applications folder. Once completed, double click SpinOffice within your Applications folder. Register by filling in your personal details. For PC users: Download SpinOffice CRM. Save the download when prompted to do so. Double click the downloaded file to begin. Once the install has completed SpinOffice will launch automatically. Register by filling in your personal details. Once you completed the registration and you click on 'Register', you instantly end up in your CRM environment!

There are three layers at the top of the application window. In the illustration you can see what we mean and below the illustration we will explain you what you can do with all three of them:  The first layer is the system menu which you as a Mac user are used to. All menu items can be found there. Go through them the first time you enter SpinOffice so you know what can be found where. Many things in SpinOffice can be customized; go to the menu item Administration for that. In chapter 12 we explain all the elements of that menu. The second layer is the screen tabs. There are two important points to mention here:  You are able to manage which important screens should always be open when you open and work within SpinOffice. This can be managed via the menu Administration -> CRM preferences; Default tabs. See below: Check and uncheck the screens you want to have active. Inactive screens will open in a separate tab once you open them via the menu. For example, when Calendar is not active and you go to your calendar via the menu, it will automatically open in a new tab. Do you want to have your Inbox or Calendar open on a second screen? No problem, just drag it out of the application! All memos, new emails, call reports, etc., which you create will appear in a new tab. When you click on ‘Send’ this tab will automatically close and you can continue where you were. The third layer is the contact/archive tab: here you can toggle between the contact information and the contact’s archive section.

You can immediately start exploring after registration. You don’t have to wait for any confirmation or verification, we will lead you to your SpinOffice database right away. The second time you login, your email address is already been given as user name. So, you only need to enter the password that you have created during initial registration.

CRM should not be difficult to set up, however, sometimes it is. This is because some traditional CRM implementation requires hardware and software installation, followed by a long period of customization for the requirements of a particular customer. Or some CRM software solutions require customization which can only be done by a developer. SpinOffice CRM is a hosted CRM. This means that it only requires an Internet connected PC / Mac with a web browser. Hosted CRM solutions are ready for use after your first login. So no difficult implementation and customization before using SpinOffice!

Traditional CRM does, a hosted CRM such as SpinOffice does not. Traditional CRM requires inhouse IT resources to install and maintain the software and hardware. A hosted CRM providers manage all software upgrades, data security, data privacy, hardware maintenance and virus protection.

At registration, you provide your first name, last name, company name and email address. We will never supply this information to third parties. We only may contact you by email or phone in response to your registration. In our mailings, there is always the possibility to unsubscribe.

SpinOffice CRM for Mac is available for any Mac with OS X 10.7 Lion and later. On all Mac types, the interfase is displayed correctly. More information about Mac compatiblity here.

On your Mac, there are two ways to download SpinOffice: from the App Store or directly from our website. What are the differences? Apps distributed through the Mac App Store are 'sandboxed', which means that they cannot access more than a limited part of the operating system. This ensures that your files and your data are protected, within certain limits, but there is a downside to sandboxing. Most important one of them is that the saving / closing, synchronization and versioning of documents and files in SpinOffice cannot be handled properly, since the application needs access to different parts of the operating system. For this reason, we offer a 'local' version of our software on our website. This version handles files and documents properly as needed. Another huge advantage, for us as vendor, is that we can do updates easier and faster, there is no dependence on Apple. And of course we do everything we can to guarantee the security of your data. It is important that you go through the steps below and switch to the 'local' version in order to avoid possible problems with documents and files in the future. How to switch from App Store version to 'local' version? Close SpinOffice.  Delete the application from your Mac. Download the 'local' version from our website: www.spinoffice-crm.com/download-software/mac/ Complete the installation by opening the installer. Once complete, open SpinOffice from the Applications folder and log in again with your email address and password. If your Mac blocks the installation of SpinOffice, please go to System Preferences, Security & Privacy, General and allow apps downloaded from outside the App Store.
