How do I add a States or Provinces field to a contact card?

Go to the menu option Administration -> CRM Preferences -> General and select the desired option in the 'Country state field'. By default, no states field is selected. You can choose from American, Australian and Brazilian states or Canadian provinces.


This setting applies to all contact cards in the database.
