Mac contacts

Set up Contacts Synchronization via CardDAV to sync all your contacts from SpinOffice CRM to your iOS device(s) and vice versa! Follow the steps in the configuration manual below.


  • Make sure that you've activated the contacts-sync in SpinOffice via menu option Administration -> Personal settings -> Synchronization.
  • On your iPhone / iPad, go to Settings -> Contacts -> Accounts.
  • Click on New account -> Other.
  • Select Add CardDAV account.
  • Following screen will appear:


  • Fill in following information:
    • Server: sync.spinoffice-crm.com
    • User name: [enter the email address where you received the activation email]
    • Password: [your SpinOffice login password]
    • Description: for example ‘Business contacts’ or ‘SpinOffice contacts’
  • Click on Next in right top corner and account is being verified.
  • Following screen will appear:


  • We advise you to choose Keep on My iPhone in order not to lose existing contacts.
  • Click on Save to add the sync account.
  • The CardDAV is now added as sync account to your iOS device.
  • In order to get them into the Contacts app:
    • Go to default iOS Contacts app
    • Click on Groups in left top corner
    • Tick the account name you gave (‘Business contacts’ in our example)
    • Click on Done to confirm
  • All contacts that are marked as contact type to sync in SpinOffice CRM, menu option Administration -> Personal settings -> Synchronization will now be shown in your contact list.
  • By default, all contacts are fetched and not pushed.
  • Manage the fetch schedule for this account via your iOS Settings -> Contacts -> Accounts -> New data:
    • Scroll down to the bottom to set the fetching period.
    • On Manual, the contacts are only being refreshed on your device when you launch the Contacts app.


It may take a few minutes to get all your SpinOffice contacts are on your device, so please do not adjust settings to fast! All changes made here will sync on every device where this CardDAV sync account has been configured.
